Golden Gala Honors & Awards

The Stockton Juneteenth Gala marks the opening of the San Joaquin Juneteenth Foundation’s 50th Anniversary celebration on June 19, the nationally recognized Juneteenth holiday. This elegant evening brings together community leaders, corporate partners, nonprofit organizations, and residents to honor the legacy of freedom while recognizing individuals and organizations whose leadership and service have strengthened San Joaquin County. A formal event, live entertainment, art, history lessons and and the presentations of Community Impact Awards, the Golden Honors Gala celebrates the past, highlights present contributions, and inspires continued progress in the spirit of love, respect, and honor. Tickets go on sale March 25th start at just $50 each.

Golden Jubilee Celebration

The Stockton Juneteenth Community Celebration is the region’s largest cultural gathering honoring African American history, culture, and community unity. Held June 20th, 2026 from 12pm-6pm at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds, the event welcomes the county for a full day of live entertainment, cultural performances, food vendors, small businesses, and community resources. With more than 100 vendors and organizations participating, the celebration creates a vibrant space where families, entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and community partners come together to connect, share resources, and celebrate freedom and progress across generations.
